beautiful water falls exclusive to the property, serene views overlooking the treetops out to the valley, multiple kilometers of walking tracks to explore
Could use clearer signage for walking tracks!!!

the lodge room was adequate but absolutley nothing like a luxury escape. and let’s not mention the lack of welcome gifts—how hard would that have been? i almost woudl ve been impressed, but the staff seemed too busy to offer even a smile, let alone top-notch service. definitely not worth the hype.

The Lodge's elegant design features vaulted wood ceilings and a grand fireplace, providing a cozy environment that was wonderfully accessible. I appreciated the thoughtful layout and serene atmosphere, making it easy to navigate and enjoy my stay.
More accessible seating in common areas would help.

Had an amazing time unwinding in the lodge room with beautiful views and super comfy bedding. I loved soaking in the hot tub and indulging in a rejuvenating massage during my stay. The only downside was the slight noise from nearby guests, but it didn’t spoil my experience at all! 😊

beautiful surroundings but lacked some details
The breathtaking views from my lodge room were truly mesmerizing, surrounded by serene native bush. The dining experience exceeded expectations, with Chef Filipe's venison dish being a particular highlight during my stay. Additionally, the hot tub outside my villa was a perfect way to unwind after exploring the stunning walking tracks around the estate.
The staff could have been more engaged during my visit.

A haven for nature lovers
Treetops Lodge is a hidden jewel in New Zealand. The mesmerizing views of the native bush from our villa were breathtaking, and the staff made us feel indulged with their friendly service. Each meal was thoughtfully prepared, with the venison being a standout dish during dinner. The absence of Wi-Fi added to the tranquility, allowing us to truly unwind and savor the moments.
While our stay was enjoyable overall, some organization could have been better. We faced slight confusion about our planned inclusions and had to follow up to get clarity. Additionally, the spa services were a bit limited, requiring advance bookings, which we hadn’t anticipated.

A relaxing escape in nature
We loved our beautiful villa with its serene views and cozy fireplace. The lack of Wi-Fi was actually a blessing for quality time together. Dinner in the library was so special. the venison was a standout! Just wish the walk to the lodge was a bit easier for us. Otherwise, a fab experience!

Outstanding experience for a special occasion!
We recently celebrated a milestone birthday at a fantastic venue that left us in awe. The ‘Estate to Plate’ dining experience was exceptional, featuring vibrant flavors and fresh produce that truly showcased culinary excellence. Our group of ten enjoyed spacious rooms, each equipped with cozy fireplaces, ensuring we felt right at home. The array of outdoor activities was impressive. we particularly loved the estate tour, where we were introduced to various farm animals while exploring the stunning grounds. The only downside was the long, winding drive to reach the venue, which might take some getting used to.

Had a fantastic time with friends during our stay! The staff were super helpful, and we loved walking around the beautiful grounds. We explored the stunning falls and really appreciated the cozy ambiance. Chef Filipe's meals were a highlight, especially dinner. Definitely a great place to unwind and enjoy nature!
Our experience was slightly dampened when we checked out. There was confusion regarding our prepayment, leading to unnecessary charges on my card. It took multiple follow-ups to resolve the issue, which was frustrating.

Couples seeking an unforgettable romantic escape
After a long drive, we arrived to find a candlelit dinner waiting for us in our villa,, absolutely magical. The staff were amazing, always checking in,, made us feel like royalty,, they even offered us mulled wine for our evening walk to see the glow worms.
It wasn’t cheap,, but for the experience we had it was still acceptable.
